MandDET: Fundraising

An Ongoing Commitment

The Trustees of MandDET have raised some £23,000 since the establishment of the charity in 1999. MandDET has a continuing commitment to fund the training of Midwives and other Health Care Professionals in aspects relating to Diabetes in Pregnancy, and employs the following methods to raise funds. 


Donations

Sales of the 'Midwifery and Diabetes Education

Price: £150.00 (includes postage and packaging and free updates as new versions are produced).

We intend to use the proceeds from the sale of this CD ROM to restore our depleted funds after meeting production costs, and to further our ability to fund training on this subject.


Special Events

MandDET organises special fundraising events each year, which help publicise our cause as well as raise money.

The 'Claire Cook Memorial' Sponsored Walk (10 miles or 5 miles) will take place on 7th May 2005, starting at 10am from Canvas Farm (address as above). More details are available from the Menu to the left of screen.
